I’ve missed you guys so terribly much. I had so much fun on my little spring break trip to Arizona, but the second I got back I jumped right back into my busy life here in Utah. I wanted to get up a little Spring outfit inspiration now that the season is officially upon us! And of course share some pictures with you guys of my trip.
I’m such a big fan of white lace, and because it’s such a fashion no to wear it after labor day (which I usually don’t follow haha) I don’t get to be in it as much during the winter. So come Spring time I’m hopping into it as soon as possible! I love pairing this lace romper from JPB with my crochet cardi from Spell; if I’m really in the mood, flower crowns are so fun to throw on as a last final touch.
These are the few ways we can practice humility:
To speak as little as possible of one’s self.
To mind one’s own business.
Not to want to manage other people’s affairs.
To avoid curiosity.
To accept contradictions and correction cheerfully.
To pass over the mistakes of others.
To accept insults and injuries.
To accept being slighted, forgotten and disliked.
To be kind and gentle even under provocation.
Never to stand on one’s dignity.
To choose always the hardest.”
I love you all and I am so thankful for you!
I am still alive here. Sorry for the long awaited come back but I’ve been in relaxation mode for the past few weeks, and totally loving it. I figured since I’ll be doing that again next week when I fly out to AZ, I should probably get something up for you guys before I’m gone for an entire month.
I have been loving this denim on denim trend going around. I am absolutely obsessed with pairing these wide leg high waisted denim and top together. You guys all know how much I love 70’s style so anytime I have a chance to snag something inspired by that time period I’m going to. High waisted flares are probably my favorite pieces coming back into style from way back then. They’re especially flattering for any of you girls that are pear shaped. They will accentuate your waist & cute bum and help give you that coke bottle figure. I love that these aren’t figure hugging, they’re very flowy and baggy and will be super cute for spring time. The denim top I have pictured is actually shown backwards. They had it styled that way in the Feb. Free People catalog as well. I really love open back and having the detail in front so I’ll always style this top that way.
Finally, a huge thank you to Patron Boots for sending me these amazing heels! I would never in a million years recommend anything to you guys that I didn’t absolutely love, so I was a little worried about having to write a review on them. My worries are totally over, because the second I put them on I knew how much I was going to adore them. Not going to lie, these are giving my Free Birds a run for their money. I’ve been wearing these out already! I can’t believe how insanely comfortable they are, especially for how high the heel is. They are the perfect cut out summer heel and I have no doubt I’ll be in them all the time from now on.
I hope you’re all having a fantastic week and for my fellow Utahns, hope you’re loving the snow!
Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.
